Nathan Road, Ladies’ Market and how KFC still sucks overseas

On Nathan Road:

>> VERY long.
>> To shop-a-holics, don’t be deceived. Nathan Road is not the place to be for shopping ’till you drop. All you’ll see along this street are watch & jewellery shops (and perhaps a handful of other shops).

On Ladies’ Market:

>> My feet and legs are begging to be amputated after going around this place — actually just half of it. There’s SO much stuff I didn’t know where to start. I personally liked the goods being sold in Argyle Centre, though most of the vendors sell their wares at fixed prices, so it’s useless to haggle. I got a lovely lovely pair of brown boots for a reasonable price. I just might wear them tomorrow One important observation though –most of the apparel being sold these days are just too… radical/preppy/emo/harajuku-crazy for me.  I had a hard time finding stores which sold clothes which match my style.  Gawd, I feel so old. -_-

On KFC:

>> The chicken pieces were small and the meat wasn’t tender. Worse, they didn’t serve gravy. Ohh, the travesty. How could KFC not have gravy on its menu?!? That’s practically the only reason I’ve got left for going to KFC. And they didn’t have it. I asked them and they couldn’t understand me; I said “gravy” and they thought I was asking for “cray-jee”. Crazy.

I’ve searched high and low but still couldn’t find the COOL Magazine issue with Junjin on the cover… sigh…
